The Nike Air Max Pre-Day “Black/White” is a contemporary lifestyle shoe silhouette with futuristic and retro-inspired details. The Air Max Pre-Day borrows its name from the late Steve Prefontaine, a legendary long distance runner sponsored by Nike in the 1970s. Informed by classic Nike running shoes like the Waffle Racer as well as modern designs, the Air Max Pre-Day in “Black/White” features black textile base with tonal suede panels on the toe, forefoot, and heel. A white synthetic Swoosh appears on either side of the shoe. The eyelets are designed in a black textile material. A visible Max Air unit in the heel of the black EVA foam midsole cuts a strikingly modern look. The thin black Nike Regrind rubber outsole is rounded on the heel.
